Citizens Committee Grant Now Open Alibaba Manifest Grant Pro Bono Legal Assistance/Courses

The Citizens Committee for NYC awards micro-grants to community groups and small neighborhood businesses from Harlem to Hollis focused on improving neighborhood life and building local leadership.

Two funding opportunities are currently available: the All in Neighborhood Grant Program awards up to $3,000 for community development projects, and the Neighborhood Business Grant Program distributes up to $10,000 for business continuity and sustainability of activities.

CitizensNYC prioritizes innovative projects that address the critical needs of underserved communities.

Applications for the Manifest Grant Program 2022 are now open! In cooperation with Hello Alice, is giving 50 US SMEs a cash grant of $10,000 and $5,000 in logistics services when sourcing from to celebrate their innovation and improve the competitive advantage of their products.

All applicants and recipients will be eligible for a host of additional benefits from selected partners including Indiegogo, AMZScout and Daymond John’s Black Entrepreneurs Day. Learn more and apply by October 31 here:

Free pro-bono legal support and business webinars

The Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce’s Business Solutions Center hosts two free legal clinics focusing on corporate structure, contractual issues, and intellectual property (patents, trademarks, etc.):
