BFM offers its members a new legal assistance center
British furniture makers (BFM) launched the BFM Legal Hub, an online resource offering legal advice on a wide range of topics.
The national trade body has partnered with Markel Law to develop a comprehensive set of digital tips and resources for its members.
The Legal Toolkit is free for members and offers legal and business advice on key topics such as health and safety, employment, taxation, contracts and data protection.
Created by qualified and experienced lawyers and business experts, the BFM Legal Hub offers DIY contracts, policies, forms and letter templates, along with simple guides, links to key resources and up-to-date information. on new legislation and case law. Members signing up to the Legal Hub will be able to access these resources, as well as live chat, blogs and videos.
Full members of BFM will also have access to free telephone support, with experts on hand to help identify options, make recommendations and provide advice on employment and HR advice, health and safety and commercial law.
